Aircel Chennai Open 2014 ropes-n Fiat as official car partner

Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited is the Official Car Partner for Aircel Chennai Open 2014. This is the first year that Fiat is partnering India's only ATP World Tour Event that will be held at Chennai’s SDAT Stadium from December 30th 2013 to January 5th 2014.

Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA, Italy. The car manufacturer is currently selling the FIAT Linea and Punto models, which are manufactured by the Tata-Fiat joint venture. It is also preparing to distribute FIAT and Jeep vehicles in India through an independent dealer network.

The 19th edition of the $450,000 tournament features one of the strongest playing fields ever, with an impressive lineup of talent including top 20 players Stanislas Wawrinka, Mikhail Youzhny, Fabio Fognini and Benoit Paire among others. Both Indian and International participants will compete for the coveted title. The tournament promises to give the subcontinent access to a week of scintillating tennis action.

FIAT India also ran a digital contest for tennis fans on its Facebook and Twitter page and the winner was felicitated at a meet and greet event on Sunday, by Rohan Bopanna, an ace tennis player of India. The fans enjoyed meeting and interacting with him at FIAT Meet and Greet event for Airecl Chennai Open.
