Ajay Kaul joins DiDi Chuxing in Silicon Valley, US

Global marketing leader, Ajay Kaul, who holds a vast experience in digital marketing has reportedly joined DiDi Chuxing, the fast growing mobility/ride hailing company in Silicon Valley, US. Sources say he will be joining the company, based out of Silicon Valley and will be heading their Paid Marketing for International markets (outside China).

Ajay, who until recently served as Chief Digital Officer, at Mahindra Holidays, part of the $20 billion Mahindra group, has an expertise in creating and scaling brands utilizing digital and social media.  As per his Linkedin, during his career span with the biggest global brands (Sprint, Dell, Lenovo and Google) he has delivered results in B2B and B2C sales environments.

DiDi Chuxing, also referred by some as the Uber of China, is a Soft Bank funded venture, with a valuation of over $50 billion as per the most recent funding round. DiDi is a mobility ride-sharing platform dedicated to revolutionizing the way people live and move and is aggressively building businesses in Latin America, Australia and Japan markets. Besides SoftBank, Didi also received a billion dollars investment from Apple.  Didi is listed amongst the top three global disruptor companies globally.
