Akshita Mudgal believes in supporting each other as Women

Sony Entertainment Television’s new-age romantic entertainer ‘Ishk Par Zor Nahi’ revisits the classic romance trope of ‘opposites attract’ in its own sweet and fresh way. The narrative centres around Ahaan and Ishqi, who are both as different as chalk and cheese. And when their worlds collide, the law of 'opposite' attraction comes into play!

In the show, Akshita Mudgal’s character Ishqi is a free-spirited, happy-go-lucky girl who follows her heart and wholeheartedly believes in the power of love. While she’s fiercely independent and does not rely on anyone for her needs, she’s also warm, caring, thoughtful and goes an extra mile to help and take care of her loved ones. Actress Akshita Mudgal who connects with her character ‘Ishqi’ on a personal level believes that the show highlights how women support women especially through Ishqi and Sonu’s friendship, which is such an empowering sight to witness.

Sharing more elaborately on this, Akshita Mudgal said, “When women support each other, incredible things happen. I would not have been what I am, if I didn’t have wonderful women in my life. Imagine how beautiful this world would be if all the women show boundless cooperation, love and support to each other. In the show, my character Ishqi has bonded really well with Sonu who is Ahaan’s sister. They both have each other’s backs. I am glad to be portraying a character that is so much like me and what I believe in!”
