Alien Invasion takes over MOVIES NOW! Watch the Species series starting 6th January at 9pm

This January, MOVIES NOW brings you one of the best and the most watched alien adventure series – Species film series.  Starting 6th January every Friday at 9pm treat yourself to some Sci-Fi adventure with - Species, Species II, Species III and Species: An Awakening.  So be ready for some out of the world movie experience only on MOVIES NOW.

This science fiction series starts with Species - where an experiment conducted by scientist Xavier Fitch (Ben Kingsley) goes horribly wrong and results in the inception of an alien with superior strength.  What follows next is a series of steps taken by a group of scientist Michael Madsen, Forest Whitaker and Ben Kingsley himself to track down and trap the killer alien – SIL (played by Natasha Henstridge) before she successfully mates with a human male and spreads destruction.

Species II follows Mykelti Williamson and Justin Lazard, a pair of astronauts who make the first successful manned mission to Mars. During their mission Lazard's character gets infected by an alien and slowly begins to mutate, and after he returns, he starts to run amok on earth. The surviving team members from the first film team up with a peaceful, genetically re-engineered SIL from the previous installment, to track the monster down and save the world from annihilation. But will they be successful and can SIL be really helpful?

Next up is Species III which brings a whole new cast with new adventures. The movie now moves on to the original SIL’s daughter Sara played by Sunny Mabrey, who begins her mission to mate with humans, while a specialist military team hunt her down to kill her before it’s too late.

This science fiction series finds its conclusion in Species – An Awakening.  This film talks about Dr. Hollander, a scientist, who takes his niece Miranda to Mexico in an attempt to reverse the effects of the alien DNA he used to create her, however the treatment goes horribly wrong and Miranda takes a whole new destructive form. Once again the struggle between the alien agenda and humans begins with a tense and gripping end!
