Amagi launches 'Ek Lakh ka Dubsmash' Contest across India

Amagi, India’s largest TV ad network, has announced the launch of a new contest on the Dubsmash platform for people who want to advertise on TV. The winner of the ‘EK Lakh Ka Dubsmash’ contest will be awarded Free Commercial Time worth INR 1 lakh on Zee News and IBN7. The winner will have the option to choose Free Commercial Time amongst one of the following markets - Delhi, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rest-of-Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir, North East, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.

The contest will accept submissions from March 23 to April 13, 2016. Contestants should download the Dubsmash app on a smartphone, create a Dubsmash video lip-syncing with Amagi’s ‘Bada Socho TV Socho’ commercial (which can be found in the Dubsmash library) and upload this video to YouTube. The YouTube link needs to be shared on social channels across Facebook and Twitter using #BadaSochoTVSocho. On completion, contestants should fill out a form on the Amagi website and include a link to their YouTube video. The contest provides an opportunity for everyone who wishes to advertise on national TV on premium channels such as Zee News and IBN7. Prior to this, Amagi had launched its TVC campaign ‘Bada Socho TV Socho’, encouraging entrepreneurs to target their audience on national TV, with ad spots starting at INR 250. A supporter of entrepreneurs, Amagi believes that TV is a crucial advertising medium in helping small and medium businesses to expand their footprint.
