Amazon India appoints Vineet Nair as Head of Media

Vineet Nair has been appointed Head of Media at Amazon India.

Nair is an accomplished media industry executive with over 15 years of experience in conventional and digital media, brand building, media planning, purchasing, and strategy.

Nair stated on his LinkedIn profile, “Excited to share that I have joined Amazon India as Media Head. It's been a week now and everyone has been so welcoming. As I return to this organization, I am looking forward to continue working with an amazing set of people and #workhardhavefunmakehistory again.”

Prior to this, he worked for Mindshare India as Vice President- Client Leadership & Planning vertical for Mindshare Fulcrum and managed media tasks (offline and digital) for Hindustan Unilever Limited, India's largest advertiser (HUL).

He began his career in media planning and buying at Lodestar, where his first customer was L'oreal. He was in charge of brands such as Maybeline, Lancome, L'oreal Professional, Matrix, Kerastase, and Vishy, as well as the Garnier skin portfolio.

During his time at Garnier, he was tasked with developing and implementing the launch strategy for the Garnier Men portfolio, which comprised men's face creams.
