I have always tried to narrate stories with a different lens through my short films and made sure that viewers must be engaged and entertained. It is important to reel the audience in right from the first scene and that’s exactly what I’ve done with ‘Yatri Kripya Dhyan De’. I’m grateful to Amazon miniTV for helping us take the short film to a wider audience and making it such a huge success.”

Speaking about the experience of making the short film, Shaheer Sheikh said, “Yatri Kripya Dhyan De is my first short film and I really enjoyed working on this project for Amazon miniTV. I am happy with positive response we have received for Yatri Kripya Dhyan De. It’s a well written and nicely executed short film. Now more than ever, audiences are receptive to new, exciting content and the idea is to continue pushing myself to do new challenging characters.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed working on Yatri Kripya Dhyan De and I am overjoyed to see the kind of response and success. The word ‘scene-stealer’ is something that I’ve read in countless reviews and those two words mean everything to me. I had to give Nandita my all for I needed to be emotive, mysterious to make this thriller gripping. Be it the intelligent and quirky writing, performances, efficient direction, and beautiful scenes, viewers have loved each and every aspect of what we’ve presented which is so rare, yet great, to see,” said, lead actor Shweta Basu Prasad.

‘Yatri Kripya Dhyan De’ is the story of Sumit (played by Shaheer Sheikh), a charming man in his 30’s, who is driving home in his new car. On his way, he meets Nandita (played by Shweta Basu Prasad), a hitchhiker. They get talking in the car and Nandita tells him the story about her haunted house. Replete with twists and turns, what unfolds is a series of horrific and surprising events. The short film is streaming for free on Amazon miniTV within the Amazon shopping app.
