Amazon's binge-worthy shows to watch this monsoon!

Monsoons are here and so are binge-worthy titles on Amazon Prime Video to keep you entertained and safe indoors. With the latest line up of new releases across genres and languages this week, sip in some coffee and indulge in the ultimate entertainment experiences. Returning to campus for their second semester, the once freshies are now seniors. Journey through the quirky and crazy lives of Ankit, Jaat, Chirag, Jhantoo, Akansha and Nabomita in the Amazon Original Hostel Daze Season 2 as they face new adventures and highs and lows of campus life. Starring Adarsh Gourav, Ahsaas Channa, Ayushi Gupta, Luv Vispute, Nikhil Vijay and Shubham Gaur, the series is created by The Viral Fever (TVF) and directed by Amir Musanna and Sangram Naiksatam. Relive the masti and madness of hostel life on and from 23rd July. 

Chronicling the plights of society in a gripping tale of family, parenthood and justice, Narappa is an action drama directed by Srikanth Addala. With a talented cast led by superstar Venkatesh DaggubatiPriyamani, Karthik Rathnam, and Rajsekhar Aningi, the film promises to touch the hearts of its audience with its gripping storyline, penned by National Award winner, Vetrimaaran. Catch the global premiere of the Telugu remake of the National Award winning Tamil Hit, Asuran only on Amazon Prime Video starting 20th July. 

With the ding of the first round, the ring is all set to witness the clash of two clans. In Sarpatta Parambarai, two groups come to blows for their pride and honor. Set in the 70s, the film has boxing at its heart with political and social commentary of a bygone era running through the narrative. Directed by critically-acclaimed filmmaker Pa.Ranjith and produced by Neelam Productions & K9 Studios, the period sports drama stars AryaaDushara Vijayan, John Kokken, Kalaiyarasan, Pasupathy, John Vijay and Santosh Prathap. Directors Esham and Haseen Khan weave in humour in the mundane lockdown life, narrating the story of an almost divorced couple forced by the pandemic to spend time under the same roof. With Nagabhushana and Bhoomi Shetty headlining the film, RJ Viki, Sundar Veena, Anand Ninasam and Naveen Chethana are seen in pivotal roles. Promising a barrel of laughs with its amusing dialogues and spot on comic timing, get your binge fix, 21st July onwards, on the streamer. 

Starting 25th July, Prime Members can stream the highly successful historic drama, Judas and the Black Messiah, a powerful, and candidly sympathetic, political biography with contemporary relevance. Set against the backdrop of a cold Chicago painted in chiaroscuro, the Shaka King directorial recounts the events preceding Fred Hampton's assassination through the eyes of the man who betrayed him.
