American Express Consolidates global advertising with Dentsu

American Express expands its existing partnership with Dentsu and mcgarrybowen to all international markets which ends their relationship of more than 50 years with Ogilvy.

Back in 2017, the company handed over the global brand and creative account in the US to Dentsu and have been working with them ever since. American Express focused on giving all creative work to one agency, however Dentsu then wasn't available in some markets and hence Ogilvy still carried out some creative responsibilities. 

American Express is now adding five more international markets to its relationship with Dentsu mcgarrybowen. The Official cooperation will start at the beginning of 2021.
