Anand Madhab presented with 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Listing)

World CSR Day has recognized and unveil the “100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Listing)” at the World CSR Congress held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. On this occasion Mr. Anand Madhab, Former Chief Executive Officer, Jagran Pehel was presented with the “100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Listing)” by Dr. R.L.Bhatia, Chief Editor & Founder, World CSR Day.

The 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Listing) is a tribute to those who are missionaries and passionate about CSR. Leaders who have believed that CSR Leadership must contribute to Social change are recognized. The World CSR Day pays a tribute to such leaders who are transformational agents.

While explaining the process of selection Dr. R.L.Bhatia stated that, the 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Listing) is intensely researched process undertaken by the research cell which consists of Post Graduates in History & Management with over 5 years research experience posts their studies. It is the iconic job of the research cell to produce a shortlist of Individuals who are doing extraordinary work and track the record of their achievements. The shortlist is then reviewed by a Jury comprising of senior professionals from across the globe.

 A Social Marketing Expert, Mr. Anand Madhab is a Media and Communication Specialist. He has vast experience in media marketing and in conceptualizing social awareness campaigns and projects on issues like health, sanitation, gender, population, ageing etc. He has remained associated with different mass media, multimedia and social marketing campaigns with organizations like UN agencies, World Diabetes Foundation, INGOs, The World Bank, Corporate and governments.  Some of the projects like on Tuberculosis and Diabetes Mellitus, Gestational Diabetes Management, Women Empowerment etc. have been recognized globally as champion programs and have also been able to influence government policies. He has successfully steered Jagran Pehel- CSR division of Jagran Group to identify itself as a unique brand in the civil society and development sector. He feels that CSR is an opportunity, not just to give return to the society but also to establish brand recall value in the minds of the people and expand the market provided corporate follow it with honesty.
