Anand Ramaswamy joins JSA as the new Chief Strategy & Development Officer

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Anand Ramaswamy has joined us as the Chief Strategy & Development Officer with effect from 05 January 2022.

Anand brings over 25 years of experience within the legal sector, having worked with leading global law firms across the Asia Pacific, covering law firm management, practice development, business development & marketing and communications. He has a demonstrated history of delivering value and innovative client services, focusing on strategy & business planning, client outreach; account management; pitching & pricing, integrated marketing and research.

Prior to joining JSA, he was the Head of Business Development at Trilegal from December 2017 to May 2021. He also worked as the Director of Business Development and Marketing, Baker & McKenzie, Hong Kong, from April 2003 to June 2017.

Anand started his legal career in 1993 with Chadbourne & Parke’s office in India before moving to Hong Kong with the Firm in 1996. He was also part of the business development teams at Allen & Overy and Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong.  He is a 1991 commerce bachelor graduate from the University of Delhi.

He has now decided to move back to the corporate world, to take up an exciting opportunity of his interest.
