The time has come! The time to award, appreciate and applaud the hard work of advertising agencies in the country, the time to celebrate creativity - Emvies 2014 is all set to announce the winning names today in Mumbai.

As the Advertising Club readies with the 14th year of Emvies, the ad-agencies would surely be keeping their fingers crossed. Celebrating the 60th year of The Advertising Club there have been few changes in the categories and the venue.

What is new with Emvies 2014?

This time south Mumbai will be buzzing with hoots, triumphs and shouts as the venue has been shifted from Taj Lands End, Bandra to Palladium Hotel, Lower Parel.

Also a unique feature about this year’s Emvies is that the trophy for every winning entry will be presented to both the agency and the client. The sponsors list includes, Times Television Network as the presenting sponsor, Google India as the associate sponsor and the print category sponsor is Chitralekha.

Emvies 2014 has about 650 entries across various categories. The judging sessions were conducted in Mumbai and Delhi, where 105 judges from the media fraternity graced the Round 1 judging sessions while 34 top notch clients participated in the Round 2 judging sessions that took the shape of case study presentations spread over three days. Thus, the jury panel comprised 140 judges judging the entries. Out of the total of 650 entries, 132 were shortlisted.
