Anup Jalota and Alka Yagnik to charm the semi finale of Om Shanti Om
India’s first ever devotional musical show Om Shanti Om on Star Bharat is gearing towards its finale. The semi finale episode will witness power pact acts of the four divine voices who will be seen competing with each other to win the title of the show.
Adding 5 stars to the semi-finale week will be Bhajan Samrat Anuj Jalota and Alka Yagnik who will be gracing the show as the guest judges. Alka Yagnik will be seen setting the stage on fire with the devotional song ‘Gokul Ka Gwala’ where the Bhajan Samarat Anup Jalota Ji will be seen performing with his student and very talented singer Kanika Kapoor.
Talking to Alka Yagnik on Om Shanti Om she shares, “The concept of the show has attracted me a lot. A spiritual show like Om Shanti Om was a much needed format and I am very happy to be part of the show. I have judged a lot of reality shows but for the first time I am on a divine stage like Om Shanti Om.”
Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota Ji shares, “It feels really good seeing young generation taking ahead the legacy of devotional singing. All the contestants are very talented and I am happy that I could hear them in person. The atmosphere on the set was serene.”
