AP Parigi joins Accel Transmatic as Sr. Advisor & Consultant

Accel Transmatic Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr.A.P.Parigi as a Senior Advisor and Consultant, who will advise them on all media, animation, VFX and gaming related matters. He will also be the Chairman of Accel Media Ventures Limited (a group company) and Corporate Advisor to the Accel Group. Mr.Parigi will guide Accel's media initiatives to the next level.

Mr.Parigi has 35 years of experience spanning across several sectors including telecommunications, media & entertainment. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (TOI). He also serves on Boards of Times Group companies including Times Global Broadcasting Company Limited (Times Now), Worldwide Media (a joint venture with the BBC), and TIML Global Limited, UK. In June 2010, Mr.Parigi joined the business advisory council of the Said Business School (Oxford University), UK. He is also on the advisory board of the Fordham Graduate School of Business, Fordham University, New York.

Earlier, he has held number of key positions inclusive of the CEO of BPL Mobile Communications (a joint venture with France Telecom), Mumbai. He is credited with developing & establishing Radio Mirchi, India's largest private FM radio network. After his tenure as Managing Director of Entertainment Network (India) Limited (Radio Mirchi), Mr.Parigi also served as Managing Director & Group CEO of Eros International Limited, India. In April 2009, Mr.Parigi was a recipient of the Rensselaer Entrepreneur of the Year Award conferred by the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship, which belongs to the Lally School of Management & Technology, New York.
