AR Rahman to enthrall Chennai; Partners with Jaya Network

Hailed as "the Mozart of Madras", this legendary Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer is going to perform live in Chennai after 4 years. The concert is scheduled on December 29th at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. Jaya TV will be the first Tamil Television channel in 12 years to broadcast A R Rahman’s concert.

The first Indian to win two Oscars is loved by his fan base in Chennai for his chart-topping hits. A huge turnaround of more than 12000 audiences is expected for the ground event.

The concert will be telecast on Jaya TV during Pongal (January 14th, 15th and 17th). The channel will also telecast a two-hour special tête-à-tête with A R Rahman on Diwali day i.e. November 13th.

Apart from the concert, Jaya TV is giving a lifetime opportunity to the singing talents from Tamil Nadu to participate in a talent hunt, where 10 lucky participants stand a chance to perform at the concert with A R Rahman. Jaya TV will telecast this statewide search as three episodes of half-hour.
