Arun Karadi appointed as VP, Sales for South at VRL Media

VRL Media, publishers of Vijayvani, has appointed Arun Karadi as VP – Sales for South region. In his new portfolio he will be heading ad sales for Karnataka, Kerala, Goa and Andhra Pradesh. Based in Bangalore, Karadi will be reporting to Anand Sankeshwar, MD, VRL Media.
Karadi confirmed his movement to Adgully.

He was earlier General Manager with Times VPL Publishers and had a 12 year stint with the company.

Sharing his comments on Karadi’s appointment, Sankeshwar said, “Arun joins us with great experience and knowledge in the field of sales. He has earlier been part of the Vijayavani Group and I am happy to have him back with us. His experience will be an asset for our business in the southern area and will add great value to the profitable growth of our newspaper.”

Karadi, voicing his thoughts on his latest move said, “Vijayavani is a brand growing with high acceptability and destined to be in the top slots very soon; I am happy to be working with the group again. On the other hand, I consider Times to be my gurukul, which has given me the skills and the experience to brave the world. Being in the core team exposed me to various strategies, brand building and resource management.”

Karadi’s career began with his stint at Vijay Karnataka where he was Assistant to Anand Sankeshwar.  When The Times Group acquired Vijayanand Printers in 2006, Karadi continued with the group and went on to work with Vijay Karnataka for a period of 12 years. During the last ten years he has also had stints with several leading clients such as TVS, IBM, Lenovo, Toyota, etc
