Arun Srinivas appointed by Meta India as Director and Head of Ads Business

Arun Srinivas has been hired as Director and Head of the Ads Business by Meta India. He will be in charge of Meta India’s business strategy and revenue expansion across all Meta platforms.
“I’m pleased to announce that I will be assuming a new position with Meta! – Director & Head of the Ads Business for Meta India. I will supervise business strategy and revenue growth for all businesses in India across all Meta Platforms in this role, and I will also be a member of the India Leadership Team,” he said in a LinkedIn post.
In addition, he said that in the years to come, there would be tremendous opportunity for large, medium, and small firms as the digital landscape redefines how companies interact with and reach consumers.
In this capacity, Srinivas oversaw the company’s strategic partnerships with top brands, agencies, and partners in India in order to boost Facebook’s revenue growth in those markets and collaborate with the media and creative ecosystems to hasten the use of digital tools by businesses.
To manage the strategy and execution of the India Marketing Solutions charter, which is targeted at significant advertisers and agencies, Srinivas joined Meta as the Director of Global Business Group in September 2020.
Srinivas has more than two and half decades of experience working in senior sales and marketing positions for organisations including Unilever, OLA and Reebok. He also served as the head of the consumer vertical for the investment firm WestBridge Capital Partners.
Prior to Meta, he served as the global chief marketing officer and chief operating officer of OLA Mobility. After beginning his career with Reebok, Srinivas moved to Unilever where he worked for more than 15 years in the beverage, skincare, food, and personal care categories. He attended the Indian Institute of Management in Kolkata, India.
