Ashni Biyani resigns as MD of Future Consumer

Future Consumer Ltd's Managing Director Ashni Biyani, daughter of Future Group Chairman Kishore Biyani, has resigned. The board has accepted Ashni Biyani's resignation.
According to a regulatory filing from FCL, she would remain on the board and act as the company's non-executive director.

In addition, the board has named Samson Samuel as the company's Chief Executive Officer, effective May 12.

"Ms Ashni Biyani has notified the firm that she has resigned... owing to personal restrictions and problems that prevent her from devoting the necessary time and attention to the company's activities," the company stated.
