Asian Paints announces #LiveFromHome ft. Shankar Mahadevan

Today, as people across the world continue to live indoors, Asian Paints launched the #LiveFromHome initiative with the objective of bringing cheer to people’s homes during the lockdown. With #LiveFromHome, the brand on boarded some of the country's biggest entertainment acts to perform LIVE for viewers in a shared moment in time that is singularly unique. The first two successful #LiveFromHome experiences - the first featuring Shaan and followed by a second live with Neeti Mohan, saw huge traction reaching out to over 10 Million audiences and 18000 plus people watching it Live. The brand is now all set for its third live in the series with Shankar Mahadevan on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 7.30 pm.

Stepping out only when necessary, people are constantly seeking some form of relief within the four walls of their homes to make the experience more bearable. While practicing social distancing, citizens are looking for activities to keep themselves occupied. #LiveFromHome was conceived with an intention to brighten their mandated quarantines and help build a sense of community.

Going live every week on Asian Paints' Instagram handle, the campaign aims to help break the monotony and fulfill people's yearning for a change in the daily quarantined lives. Urging everyone to stay positive to win this fight, and capturing the mood and collaborated efforts of the nation's battle against COVID-19, Shankar Mahadevan's music is the perfect message to reinstate that we are in this fight together and will emerge victorious.

Speaking on being part of Asian Paints #LiveFromHome initiative, talented musician, Shankar Mahadevan said, “These are tough times for everyone, there is so much noise around the pandemic which instils a sense of worry and chaos. But, MUSIC is one such source which has the power to make everyone see a silver lining in the dark clouds that have engulfed the nation.
