Askme appoints J. Walter Thompson as its creative agency

Askme, India’s leading consumer digital platform today announced the appointment of J. Walter Thompson as its creative agency to help the brand further strengthen its emerging leadership in the Indian digital platform & eCommerce space.

India’s first integrated platform that provides local merchants, search, deals, classified & commerce, all packed in one app as Askme launched last year in July with Ranbir Kapoor has already witnessed about 10M downloads, 10,000 new paid advertisers a month and 4 lac online transactions a month through Askme Bazaar within 7 months of its launch. Initially for one year, this contract will entitle J. Walter Thompson for all the creative & digital duties of Askme including Askme Bazaar & Askme Freeads.

Askme had called for a multi-agency pitch where several well-known agencies participated over 3 months. J. Walter Thompson was entrusted with creative duties for next marketing campaign basis the creative ideas presented to the team. With ATL and Digital marketing spends of 350 Cr, J. Walter Thompson has been appointed Creative agency on record for Askme and Askme Bazaar.
