Aspri Spirits brings French premium "Guy Saget' Wines to India

Vignobles Guy Saget, a 9th Generation Family owned Loire Valley winery is the leading premium Loire Valley producer of Sancerre and Pouilly Fume. Quality and respect of nature have always been the philosophy of Vignobles Guy Saget. Brought up in the vineyards, the Saget brothers, Jean-Louis and Christian, learned from a very young age to love and respect the soil. Vignobles Guy Saget sources two-thirds of the production in the Loire Valley from their estates with the remainder from long-term relationships with families of vine growers.

Le Domaine Saget results from the unification of the best vines and soils belonging to the Saget family. The wine is sourced from about 10 hectares of Guy Saget's vineyards spread over the "lieux-dits" of Vaurigny, Les Chantalouettes, Les Fougères and Les Roches, all located in the district of Pouilly-sur-Loire. The average age of the vines is 20 years and the soils are mostly clay-limestone kimmeridgian marls (a mix of pre-historic shells and clay).

The Pouilly Fumé Le Domaine Saget is delicate, lively and fruity, evoking reminiscent aromas blackcurrant leaves, a very nice complexity of citrus fruits with tones of acacia blossom. There are lots of flowery fruit flavours on the palate, a good acid balance and a pleasing after-taste with good length with Grape Variety of 100% Sauvignon Blanc and Finished Alcohol of about 12.5%.

Guy Saget Domaine de la Perriere Sancerre: White in nature from Loire region with aromas of citrus & flint and is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It perfectly accompanies the Loire fish, salmon trout, turbot in beurre blanc, a royal Dorado or a carpaccio of salmon.

Domaines Guy Saget Pouilly Fume: A delicate, lively wine with a flowery fruit flavour, reminiscent of broom & black currant leaf aromas. This white in nature wine is from the Loire region and when slightly chilled pairs very well with fish, cheese, particularly goat cheese.

Guy Saget Vouvray: A white natured wine that is made in an off-dry style with enticing flavours of honey, melon & peach along with a hint of almond and is from the Loire region. A delightful aperitif & creamy seafood and white meat are some of the food combinations that go very well with this wine.

Domaine de la Perriere Muscadet Sevre et Maine: White in nature, this wine is prepared from Muscadet grapes and has delicate floral nose aromas. This crystal clear wine is rich & unctuous on the palate and is from the Loire region and is a feast when paired with fish, oysters & saucy dishes.

Domaine La Petite Perriere Sauvignon Blanc is a pale gold coloured wine from the Loire region and is white in nature. The wine explodes with the aromas of ripe yellow & exotic fruits and goes well with salads, light fish & sea food.
