Avinash Kaul of TNN calls it quits!

In a crucial industry movement, Avinash Kaul, who held the position of CEO - ET Now, Zoom and Times Now has put in his papers.

Industry sources have confirmed the news to Adgully, however his next move is not known yet.

Kaul, who has been with the Times Television Network for nearly four years now, has over 15 years of experience in the broadcast industry.

He was given the additional responsibility of Times Now in 2012, wherein his responsibility involved overseeing the operations of all the three channels of the Network – Zoom (entertainment channel), ET Now (English business news channel) and Times Now (English general news channel). In this position, Kaul reported to Sunil Lulla, the then Managing Director and CEO, TTN.

Kaul started his career as a media planer with Mindshare. Prior to joining Times Television Network, Kaul had a short stint at Sahara One as CEO. He was also the EVP, NDTV Media for over seven years, prior to which he also worked at Discovery Communications and STAR India.
