'MUDDO SE MUKKO PE AANA CHAHIYE'

Speaking at Sahitya AajTak 2022, the actor said, "10 saal se muddo pe kaam kiya, ab muddo se mukko par aa jaana chahiye. 10 saal mein kaafi filmein aise hiye hain jo social messages wali thi. But I just thought that I needed to change something and reinvent myself and this is the perfect script for that. Aise nahi hain ki mauka nahi mila tha action karne ka to present something unique. Film ke andar kuch tedha hain. Hamesha Aanand Rai mujhe kehte the ki koi tedhi script aati hain toh main Ayushmann ke pass pahuch jaata hoon. Ye bhi ek tedhi script hain. Jo trailer mein nazar aata hain uss ebohot zyada hain film ke andar. It’s a very unique script."

Aur mere maa-baap aise kiya karte the ki main theatre karna chahta tha, aur mere saamne shart rakhi gayi thi ki agar aap college mein one of the toppers honge, tabhi aap theatre kar sakte hain warna nahi kar sakte. Teen saal maine almost top hi kiya hain college mein, tab jaake mujhe theatre karne ka mauka milta tha. Toh mere papa ka manna tha ki padhai mein acha hoga toh kabhi bhookha nai marega."
