BARC RATINGS: New Entrant Sony Pal makes it to No. 8 spot

Week 45 - 7th November 2015 to Friday, 13th November 2015: BARC ratings for week ended 13th November saw Colors regaining its 3rd position while Free to Air channel Sony Pal which saw its entry to list of top ten jumped to spot No 8 from No. 10 in the last week.  Though Star Plus and Zee Anmol did not leave their respective spots of being first and second, we could definitely see the drop in numbers. While Star Plus recorded the rating of 748197, Zee Anmol rating was 717923 as against 729701 last week. Zee TV Week 45 ratings also plunged to 638475 from 694864.

Life OK and Star Utsav swapped their respective places, with Star Utsav moving up to No. 5 and Life OK dipping to No. 6. However, both the channels saw a drop in their viewership as against last week.

Sony SAB with the rating of 337535S moved up to the seventh position as against being No. 8 in the last week. Sony Entertainment Television plummeted to ninth position from seventh position. Ironically, Rishtey dropped from ninth to tenth position although there was an increase in number from 263955 to 282623 in week 45.

Top 5 Programs in Hindi GEC

Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Hain Mohabbatein and Ek Se Bhale Do maintained their respective position in top 4 list. Though Saath Nibhana Saathiya and YHM saw a drop in their viewership, Kumkum Bhagya saw a rise in its viewership. Zee Anmol’s Jodha Akbar replaced Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka at No. 5 spot.

Top Hindi Movie Channels

Sony Max stayed strong at No. 1 with drop in its viewership numbers and Star Gold made it to the second spot dislocating Zee Cinema to the third irrespective of little improvement in Zee Cinema’s ratings. Movies OK stayed at fourth position and this week we saw UTV Movies entering the chart at No. 5 spot.
