BARC Ratings Week 43:Colors holds onto its numero uno spot

BARC ratings for Week 43 (October 22-28) of 2016 [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 4+ Individuals] saw Colors hold on to its lead, even as two of its shows – ‘Naagin 2’ and ‘Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ – continued to put up a strong performance.

Colors continued to lead the Hindi general entertainment genre in Week 43, garnering gross viewership of 683,402. ‘Naagin’ continues to gain eyeballs in its second season as well. ‘Naagin 2’ registered 12,673 Impressions (000s) this week and remained the most watched show on Hindi GECs. Another of Colors’ shows, ‘Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, was at No. 2, garnering 11,566 Impressions (000s).

Placed at the second spot, Star Plus garnered gross viewership of 660,542 in Week 43. Its show, ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’, was the third most watch show on Hindi GECs, registering 10,615 Impressions (000s).

With a gross viewership of 500,722, Zee Anmol was placed at the third spot.

Zee TV followed at the fourth spot with a gross viewership of 476,401. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on Zee TV was No. 4 among most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Week 42. The show garnered 10,469 Impressions (000s).

Sony Pal was at No. 5 in Week 43, registering gross viewership of 431,781. Sony SAB followed at No. 6 with a gross viewership of 412,435.

Placed at No. 7, Sony Entertainment Television garnered a gross viewership of 395,971 in Week 43. Star Utsav was close behind with a gross viewership of 395,049.

Rishtey, meanwhile, was placed at the ninth spot, registering a gross viewership of 386,132. The re-run of Season 1 of ‘Naagin’ on the channel garnered 10,446 Impressions (000s), making it the fifth most watched show on Hindi GECs in Week 43.

Life OK was placed in the tenth spot with a gross viewership of 366,503.
