BARC Wk 11 ratings: See-saw battle on for top spot; its Zee Anmol’s turn this week

BARC ratings for Week 11 of 2018 (March 10-16) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw the see-saw battle for the top spot continue, with Zee Anmol moving ahead of the rest to claim the No.1 spot. It was yet another strong show put up by the FTA channels this week. Zee’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ continued to lead among the top shows. 

Zee Anmol saw further gains in Week 11, climbing up a notch to the numero uno position, moving past Star Bharat. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 810,969, a jump from 709,090 recorded last week. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, topped the list of most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 13,567 (000) Impressions, one of the highest viewerships recorded by a show since BARC ratings came into being. 

Meanwhile, Star Bharat slipped a notch from its No.1 position to be placed in the second spot in Week 11. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 740,541, a decline from 777,256 recorded last week. Its show, ‘Nimki Mukhiya’, continued to entice viewers in Rural+Urban and was placed at No.5 with 8,648 (000) Impressions. 

Sony Pal remained unchanged at No.3 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 647,929, a further decline from 699,325 recorded in Week 10. 

Star Utsav climbed up a notch to the fourth spot in Week 11. The channel witnessed a further increase in its gross viewership – from 561,584 recorded in Week 10 to 598,597 this week. 

On the other hand, Zee TV slipped a notch to No. 5 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 576,059, a decline from 640,620 recorded in Week 10. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ remained in the second spot among most watched shows, with 11,989 (000) Impressions. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, too, remained unchanged in the third spot with 10,575 (000) Impressions. 

Colors continued to be placed in the sixth spot in Week 11, garnering a gross viewership of 547,056, a further increase from 526,717 recorded last week. 

Rishtey climbed up a notch to No.7 this week, recording a gross viewership of 450,671, a decline from 459,038 recorded in Week 10. 

Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television clipped a notch to the eighth spot in Week 11, garnering a gross viewership of 450,604, a decline from 469,141 recorded last week. Dance reality show, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’ made a re-entry in the list of most watched shows at No. 4 with 9,201 (000) Impressions. 

Star Plus and Sony SAB remained in their respective positions of No.9 and No.10 this week. Star Plus saw a slight increase in its gross viewership – from 431,711 recorded in Week 10 to 437,113 this week. Sony SAB garnered a gross viewership of 387,085, a decline from 404,584 recorded in Week 10.
