BARC Wk 11 ratings: Star Plus continues to lead in R+U

BARC ratings for Week 11 (March 11-17) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 4+ Individuals] saw Star Plus continue in its leadership position. There weren’t too many upheavals seen in the ranking of the top 10 Hindi GECs seen this week. ‘Naagin Season 2’ was back as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban this week. 

Star Plus continued to be placed in the numero uno position in Week 11, witnessing a further decline in its gross viewership of from 756,101 recorded last week to 744,974 garnered this week. Two of its shows remain in the list of top 5 most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban this week as well. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ was placed in the third spot with 10941 Impressions (000s), while ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ remained at No. 5, garnering 9,017 Impressions (000s). 

Colors remained firm in the second spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 612,603, a decline from 637,027 recorded in Week 10. ‘Naagin Season 2’ was back as the most watched show on Hindi GEC in Rural+Urban, garnering 12,171 Impressions (000s). 

Sony Pal, too, remained unchanged at No. 3 in Week 11 last week. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 574,333, an increase from 568,043 recorded last week. The channel has been steadily gaining grounds in the last few weeks. 

Zee TV continued to be placed at the fourth spot, witnessing a gross viewership of 537,768 this week, an increase from 518,107 recorded in Week 10. Its show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slid a notch to No. 2, witnessing 12,061 Impressions (000s). 

Rishtey climbed up a notch to be placed at the fifth spot in Week 11, recording a jump in its gross viewership from 446,592 last week to 503,153 this week. 

Zee Anmol, on the other hand, slipped a notch to No. 6 in Week 11, garnering a gross viewership of 459,800, compared to 466,508 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB, which climbed to the seventh spot last week, continued in this spot in Week 11. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 448,564 a marginal increase from 445,258 recorded in Week 10. Its popular and long-running sitcom, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ continued to be placed at No. 4 among the most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban, garnering 9,562 Impressions (000s). 

Sony Entertainment Television climbed up a notch to No. 8 this week, witnessing an increase in its gross viewership to 445,854 from 431,431 recorded in Week 10. 

Star Utsav slipped a notch to the ninth spot in Week 11, recording a gross viewership of 432,893, a marginal decline from 433,658 recorded last week. 

Life OK continued in the tenth spot in Week 11 as well, registering a gross viewership of 388,575, a decline from 393,324 recorded in last week.
