BARC Wk 13 ratings: Star Bharat back at No.1 as FTA channels rule

BARC ratings for Week 13 of 2018 (March 24-30) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Star Bharat claim the No. 1 spot despite marking a decline in its gross viewership numbers. FTA channels continued to put up a strong show for yet another week, claiming the top 4 positions. 

Star Bharat stemmed its slide this week as it climbed up two notches to claim the numero uno spot. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 748,554, an increase from 732,651 recorded in Week 12. 

Zee Anmol slipped a notch to the second spot in Week 13, garnering a gross viewership of 737113, a drop from 810,903 recorded last week. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, continued to top the list of most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 12,792 (000) Impressions. 

Sony Pal slipped a notch to the third spot in Week 13. The channel witnessed a decline in its gross viewership – from 738,826 recorded in Week 12 to 707,481 this week. Crime show, ‘CID’, slipped to the fifth spot among most watched shows with 9,049 (000) Impressions. 

Star Utsav remained unchanged at No. 4 this week as well, recording a gross viewership of 632,677, a marginal decline from 637,141 recorded in Week 12. 

Colors, which had climbed up a notch last week to be placed in the fifth spot, continued in this position in Week 13 as well, garnering a gross viewership of 530,771, a decline from 563,717 recorded in Week 12. 

Zee TV, too, remained unchanged at No. 6 this week, registering a further decline in its gross viewership – from 548,874 recorded in Week 12 to 511,841 this week. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ remained in the second spot among most watched shows, with 11,078 (000) Impressions, while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slipped to the fourth spot with 9,243 (000) Impressions. 

Sony Entertainment Television climbed up a couple of notches to the seventh spot in Week 13, garnering a gross viewership of 498,249, an increase from 428,017 recorded last week. The finale episode of dance reality show, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’, climbed up a couple of notches to the third spot in the list of most watched shows with 9,806 (000) Impressions. 

Star Plus, meanwhile, slipped a notch to No. 8 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 482,948, a slight increase from 481,551 recorded in Week 12. 

Rishtey further slipped a notch to the ninth spot in Week 13, recording a gross viewership of 463,064, a further increase from 453,042 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB continued to be placed in the tenth spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 395521, an increase from 376,912 recorded in Week 12.
