BARC Wk 15 ratings: Star Plus remains at No. 1; top order unchanged

BARC ratings for Week 15 (April 8-14) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Star Plus continue in its top spot. Unlike Week 14, where quite a few movements in the rankings were witnessed, this week was relatively uneventful as far as movement was concerned.

Star Plus continued in its numero uno spot in Week 15, garnering a gross viewership of 678,258, a decline from 691,210 recorded last week. Its show, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, continued in the third spot in Week 15 as well with 8,960 Impressions (000s). 

Sony Pal, which surprised all by claiming the No. 1 spot in Week 13, continued to be placed in the second spot this week. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 599,008, a decline from 603,379 recorded in Week 14. 

Colors remained in the third spot in Week 15, recording a gross viewership of 590,632, an increase from 588,225 recorded last week. ‘Naagin Season 2’ continued as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban, garnering 11,371 Impressions (000s). 

Rishtey, which had climbed up a notch to No. 4 in Week 14, continued in this spot this week as well. The channel witnessed an increase in its gross viewership – from 496,235 last week to 530127 in Week 15. Re-run of ‘Naagin - Season 2’ on the channel was placed at No. 5 with 8,327 Impressions (000s). 

Zee TV, which had slid a notch to No. 5 in Week 14, remained in this position this week as well, reporting a gross viewership of 511,986, compared to 481,772 recorded last week. Two of its shows find a place in the most watched shows’ list – ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ remained at No. 2, witnessing 10,071 Impressions (000s), while ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’ recorded 8,733 Impressions (000s) and climbed a notch to No. 4. 

Star Utsav, which was the major gainer last week, continued in the sixth spot in Week 15, garnering a gross viewership of 446,036, compared to 430,182 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB, which had slipped from No. 7 to No. 9 in Week 14, was back at the seventh spot this week. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 434,006, an increase from 414,057 recorded last week. 

Zee Anmol, which had slid a notch to No. 7 in Week 14, remained in this position this week as well, garnering a gross viewership of 426141, compared to 424,007 recorded last week. 

Sony Entertainment Television continued to be placed in the eighth spot in Week 15, garnering a gross viewership of 390,474, a further decline from 414,068 recorded last week. 

Life OK continued in the tenth spot in Week 15 as well, registering a gross viewership of 347,208, a slight increase from 336,568 recorded last week.
