BARC Wk 18: FTA channels continue to rule, but viewership declines.

BARC ratings for Week 18 of 2018 (April 28- May 4) [HSM (U+R): NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw the FTA channels remain firm. Rishtey continued with its good run and remains at the second spot this week. 

Zee Anmol further consolidated its numero uno position in Week 18 with a Slight decrease in its gross viewership to 769222  from771,888 recorded last week. After being the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban for weeks, re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, at first spot with 10859 (000)  Impressions.

Rishtey, which has been steadily climbing up the charts, is at the second spot in Week 18. Rishtey’s gross viewership saw a decrease this week 642114 from 672,774.

Star Bharat, meanwhile, at No. 3 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 603720 a decrease from 638,431, Week 17.

Sony Pal remained unchanged at No. 4 this week, recording a gross viewership of 594997 from 600021 recorded in Week 17. CID makes a  re - entry to the list of top five most watched shows on Hindi GEC Rural + Urban for the first time at No. 57132 (000) Impressions. 

Zee TV is among the top 5 Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban. The channel has maintained its position this week, garnering a gross viewership of 548150 a decrease from 579,082 recorded last week. Four of Zee TV’s shows featured among the top 5 most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban in Week 18. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ became the most watched show with 10500 (000) Impressions, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ moved up a notch to No.3 with   9284 (000) Impressions and   ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ slipped a notch to No. 4 with 8619 (000) Impressions.

Star Utsav, which had slid a notch to the Sixth spot in Week 17, remained in this position this week as well, recording a gross viewership of 460921 a further decline from513,800 in Week 17  

Star Plus remains at No. 7 in Week 18. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 422988 a further decline from 456,054, recorded last week.

Colors, remains at the eighth spot this week, recording a gross viewership of 395016 a decline from 430,238, recorded in Week 17.

Sony Entertainment Television and Sony SAB swapped places this week, with the former slipping a notch to No. 10, while Sony SAB climbed up a notch to the ninth spot recording a gross viewership of 356192 a decrease in viewership compared to 348,831, recorded in Week 17.

 Sony Entertainment Television garnered a gross viewership of 330934 a decline from 340,856, recorded last week.
