BARC Wk 24: Top order remains unchanged; Naagin 3 continues at No. 1

BARC ratings for Week 24 of 2018 (June 9-15) [HSM (U+R): NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw very few movements, with no changes seen in the rankings of the top 5 GECs. ‘Naagin 3’ continued to be the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban, however, the show saw a decline in the number of impressions registered. 

Zee Anmol remained steadfast at No. 1 in Week 24 as well, though it witnessed a further fall in its gross viewership to772,625 from 803,634 recorded last week. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, further slipped to the fourth spot among most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with11,044 (000) Impressions.  

Sony Pal, too, has retained its second spot in Week 24, garnering a gross viewership of 616,233, a decrease from 651,390 recorded last week.  

Zee TV remained unchanged in the third spot this week with a gross viewership of 552,159, a further decrease from 599,049 recorded in Week 23. Spin-off show, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, was ranked No. 2 this week with 11,600 (000) impressions, while marquee show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, remained in the third spot with 11,091 (000) Impressions.  

Star Bharat remained unchanged in the fourth spot in Week 24, garnering a gross viewership of 544,769, a decline from 555,751 recorded last week.  

Colors continued in the fifth spot in Week 24, recording a gross viewership of 529,007, a decrease from 547,437 recorded last week. Colors’ prime property, ‘Naagin 3’, continued as the most watched show in Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 14,103 (000) Impressions. Also contributing to Colors’ overall performance is talent hunt show, ‘Dance Deewane’, which is placed at No. 5 with 9,000 (000) Impressions. 

Star Plus moved up a couple of notches to No. 6 in Week 24, garnering a gross viewership of 504,957, an increase from 458,688 recorded last week. 

On the other hand, Star Utsav slipped to No. 7 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 474,052, a decline from 520,461 recorded last week. 

Rishtey further slipped a notch to No. 8 in Week 24. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 463,939, a decline from 506,821 recorded last week. 

There was no change in the positions of Sony SAB and Sony Entertainment Television in Week 24.  

Sony SAB continued at No. 9 with a gross viewership of 358,727, a decline from 385,499 recorded last week. Sony Entertainment Television remained unchanged at No. 10 in Week 24, garnering a gross viewership of 317,129 as against 344,248 recorded last week.
