BARC Wk 27: India TV is consistent No.1 in HSM Urban for last 10 weeks

As per BARC India data for Week 27 (Saturday, 2nd July 2022 To Friday, 8th July 2022), the overall Hindi News Genre increased by 2%, garnering 2296(000) AMAs [Source : BARC, All Days, 0600Hrs to 2400Hrs, TG : 15+, Market : HSM, Period : Wk 26’2022 & 27’2022, Channels : Hindi News Genre (12 Hindi News channels)].

Meanwhile, in HSM 15+, India TV has been continuously leading the Hindi News Genre, reporting a Relative Share of 13.1% in Week 27. There is a slight dip from 13.2% Relative Share recorded in Week 26. Compared to Week 26, Aaj Tak has also seen a decline in its Relative Share – from 13.1% to 12.9% in Week 27. Placed in the third position, Republic Bharat, on the other hand, saw an increase in its Relative Share to 12.1% in Week 27 from 11.7% last week. News18 India is placed at No. 4 with a Relative Share of 12.0%, compared to 11.9% in Week 26. TV9 Bharatvarsh is placed in the fifth position with a Relative Share of 9.4%, followed by Zee News with a Relative Share of 8.9%.
