BARC Wk 29: Zee Anmol scores highest-ever ratings; Naagin 3 propels Colors to No3

BARC ratings for Week 29 (July 14-20) [HSM (U+R): NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Zee Anmol further consolidate its numero uno position by securing the highest-ever gross viewership ever since BARC ratings came into being. Meanwhile, ‘Naagin 3’ continues to go from strength to strength, registering 15,466 (000) Impressions this week, and in the process has also helped Colors move up the ratings charts. 

This week saw Zee Anmol secure the highest-ever gross viewership ever since BARC ratings came into being. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 715,928, a leap from 651,719 recorded in Week 28, further consolidating its numero uno position. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, continued at No. 4 among most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 10,764 (000) Impressions.  

Zee TV remained unchanged at No. 2 in Week 29, garnering a gross viewership of 612,711, an increase from 577,951 recorded last week. Three of its shows feature among the most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban. Spin-off show, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, stayed at No. 2 this week with 13,238 (000) impressions, while marquee show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, was placed at No. 3 with 12,298 (000) Impressions. ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ continued at No. 5 with 9,572 (000) impressions. 

Colors saw major gains this week, climbing up a couple of notches to No. 3. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 608,701, a sharp increase from 538,323, recorded in Week 28. Colors’ prime property, ‘Naagin 3’, continued as the most watched show in Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 15,466 (000) Impressions. 

Star Bharat continued in the fourth spot in Week 29, garnering a gross viewership of 591,833, an increase from 541,652, recorded last week.  

On the other hand, Sony Pal slid a couple of notches to No. 5 in Week 29. However, the channel saw an increase in its gross viewership – from 551,727 recorded in Week 28 to 586,868 this week. 

Star Utsav continued to be placed in the sixth spot this week as well, garnering a gross viewership of 585,245, an increase from 504,288 recorded in Week 28.  

There was no change in Star Plus’ position, too, in Week 29 as the channel continued in the seventh spot, recording a gross viewership of 532,629, a further increase from 493,095 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB climbed up a notch to No. 8 this week with a gross viewership of 468,725, an increase from 410,532 recorded in Week 28. 

On the other hand, Rishtey slipped a notch to be placed in the ninth spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 458,122, a decline from 429,347 recorded in Week 28. 

Sony Entertainment Television continued at No. 10 this week as well with a gross viewership of 447,894, a further increase from 407,029 recorded in Week 28.
