BARC Wk 3 ratings: In see-saw battle, Zee Anmol on top this week

BARC ratings for Week 3 of 2018 (January 13-19) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw the see-saw battle continuing between Zee Anmol and Star Bharat, with the former moving past Star Bharat to claim the numero uno spot. Shows from Zee TV, Colors, Star Bharat and Zee Anmol dominated the top 5 shows on Hindi GECs. 

This week, its Zee Anmol that is placed in the numero uno spot. The channel climbed up a notch in Week 3, garnering a gross viewership of 736,662, an increase from 674,543 recorded last week. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was placed at the fourth spot with 10,440 (000) Impressions. 

On the other hand, Star Bharat, slid a notch this week to No. 2. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 691,997, a decline from 713,443 recorded in Week 2. It show, ‘Nimki Mukhiya’, which made its debut in the list at No. 5 last week, continued in this position with 9,586 (000) Impressions. 

Colors remained unchanged at No. 3 in Week 3 as well, garnering a gross viewership of 617,050, a decline from 627,061 recorded last week. The finale episode of ‘Bigg Boss Season 11’ was the third most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 10,611 (000) Impressions. 

Sony Pal climbed up a notch to be placed in the fourth position this week, recording a further increase in its gross viewership – from 561,707 in Week 2 to 612,393 this week. 

Meanwhile, Zee TV slipped a notch to No. 5, garnering a gross viewership of 605,654, a further increase from 571,781 recorded in Week 2. Both ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued strong. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ was the most watched show with 12,549 (000) Impressions, while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ followed in the second spot with 11,121 (000) Impressions. 

Star Utsav remained in the sixth spot in Week 3 as well, recording a gross viewership of 547,746, an increase from 532,146 recorded last week. 

There was no change in Star Plus’ position either, which continued to be placed at No. 7 in Week 3 as well. The channel reported a gross viewership of 472,073, a decline from 501,448 recorded last week. 

Rishtey, on the other hand, climbed up a notch to No. 8 in Week 3, garnering a gross viewership of 453,939, an increase from 421,999 recorded last week. 

There was no change in the positions of Sony Entertainment Television and Sony SAB in Week 3. Sony Entertainment Television continued in the ninth position with a gross viewership of 424,273, compared to 434,651 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB was placed at No. 10 with a gross viewership of 376,493, a decline from 401,334 recorded in Week 2.
