BARC Wk 37: Zee Anmol continues to lead in Rural+Urban

BARC ratings for Week 36 (September 8 - 14) [HSM (U+R): NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] didn’t saw too many drastic changes as compared to the previous two weeks. Zee Anmol held on to its numero uno position, with Zee TV continuing in the second spot. Sony SAB was back among the top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban this week. 

After reading an all-time high gross viewership of 838,334 in Week 36, Zee Anmol’s gross viewership declined slightly to 814,441 this week. The channel continued to top the list of Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban in Week 37 as well. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slid to No. 3 this week with 13,804 (000) Impressions. 

Continuing at No. 2, Zee TV registered a marginal increase in its gross viewership in Week 37 to 689,824, compared to 689,309 recorded last week. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ found favour with the viewers in Rural+Urban as it climbed up a notch this week to No. 2 with 14,071 (000) Impressions. Marquee show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, remained at No. 4 with 12,407 (000) Impressions.  

Star Utsav remained unchanged in the third spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 684,456, a further increase from 658,543 recorded in Week 36. 

Star Plus, which had seen a steep drop in Week 36 to No. 6, climbed up a couple of notches to the fourth spot this week. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 645,590, an increase from 614,665 recorded last week. Its prime time show, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, was the fifth most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 10,604 (000) Impressions.  

Star Bharat further slipped a notch to the fifth spot in Week 37, garnering a gross viewership of 645,481, a marginal decline from 645,596 recorded in Week 36. 

Colors, which had slipped to No. 8 last week, climbed up a couple of notches to the sixth spot in Week 37. The channel registered a further increase in its gross viewership to 627,968, from 584,060 recorded last week. Colors’ prime property, ‘Naagin 3’, continued as the most watched show in Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 14,422 (000) Impressions. 

Sony Pal slid a couple of notches to No. 7 this week from No. 5 in Week 36, garnering a gross viewership of 612,125, a decline from 622,584 recorded last week. 

Sony Entertainment Television slipped a notch to No. 8 in Week 37, registering a gross viewership of 602,756, an increase from 599,495 recorded last week. 

Rishtey remained unchanged at No. 9 in Week 37, garnering a gross viewership of 488,785, compared to 532,809 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB, which had moved out of the top 10 list in Week 36, made a re-entry in the list this week at No. 10. The channel was placed at No. 10 in Week 35 with a gross viewership of 473,572. In Week 37, Sony SAB secured a gross viewership of 425,972. 

Dangal TV, which has been flitting in and out of the top 10 Hindi GECs list in the last few weeks, moved out of this list in Week 37. The channel was placed at No. 10 in Week 36, with a gross viewership of 477,791.
