BARC Wk 38 ratings: Zee Anmol further consolidates lead

BARC ratings for Week 38 (September 16-22) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] didn’t see too many changes in the top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban, with Zee Anmol continuing in the No. 1 spot. Meanwhile, DD National re-entered the list once again in the tenth spot. 

Zee Anmol continued to lead the Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban in Week 38 as well. Compared to last week, the channel saw an increase in its gross viewership this week – from 672,253 in Week 37 to 700,182 this week. Re-run of ‘Jamai Raja’ on Zee Anmol secured 8,169 Impressions (000s) as the serial re-entered the top 5 most watched list at No. 4 this week. 

Zee TV, which climbed up a notch to No. 2 in Week 37, remained in this position this week, garnering a gross viewership of 671,377, a further increase from 632,973 recorded last week. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued as the most watched show with 12,647 Impressions (000s). ‘Kundali Bhagya’, the spin-off show of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, was placed second with 11,738 Impressions (000s). 

Star Bharat (formerly Life OK), too, remained unchanged at No. 3 in Week 38, garnering a gross viewership of 582,902, a further decline from 607,820 recorded last week. 

Colors climbed up a notch to the fourth spot in Week 38. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 563,342, a further increase from 544,690 recorded last week. Reality show, ‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Pain in Spain’, remained in the fifth spot this week with 8,124 Impressions (000s). 

Star Plus, on the other hand, slipped a notch to the fifth spot in Week 38, garnering a gross viewership of 551,710, a decline from 587,286 recorded last week. 

Placed in the sixth spot, Sony Pal garnered a gross viewership of 524,409, a marginal decline from 527,814 recorded in Week 37. 

Sony Entertainment Television continued in the seventh position in Week 38, garnering a gross viewership of 513,853, a slight decline from 522,791 recorded last week. The latest season of game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ remained the third most watched show on Hindi GECs with 9,918 Impressions (000s). 

Rishtey continued in the eighth spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 402,694. Sony SAB, too, remained unchanged at No. 9 in Week 38, garnering a gross viewership of 363,462. 

DD National re-entered the top 10 list in the tenth spot, garnering a gross viewership of 310,627 in Week 38.
