BARC Wk 39 ratings: Zee Anmol remains in lead; Star Plus gains grounds

BARC ratings for Week 39 (September 23-29) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] didn’t see too many changes in the top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban, with Zee Anmol continuing in the No. 1 spot. Star Plus climbed up to the third spot. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ became the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban. 

Zee Anmol continued to lead the Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban in Week 39 as well, garnering a gross viewership of 661,111, a decline from 700,182 recorded last week. 

Zee TV, too, remained unchanged at No. 2 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 624,676, a decline from 671,377 recorded in Week 38. This week, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ overtook ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ to become the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 10,866 Impressions (000s). ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slipped a notch to No, 2 with 10,371 Impressions (000s). 

Star Plus, on the other hand, saw gains this week, climbing up a couple of notches to the third spot in Week 39. The channel registered a gross viewership of 566,586, an increase from 551,710 recorded last week. Talent hunt show, ‘Dance Plus 3’ made an entry in the list of top 5 most watched shows at No. 5 with 8,609 Impressions (000s). 

Star Bharat (formerly Life OK) slipped a notch to No. 4 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 561,015, a further decline from 582,902 recorded in Week 38. 

Colors, too, slipped a notch to the fifth spot in Week 39, garnering a gross viewership of 552,131, a decline from 563,342 recorded last week. 

Continuing in the sixth spot, Sony Pal garnered a gross viewership of 518,882 this week, a decline from 524,409 recorded in Week 39. 

Sony Entertainment Television, too, remained unchanged at the seventh position in Week 39, garnering a gross viewership of 489,266, a decline from 513,853 recorded last week. The latest season of game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ slipped a notch to No. 4 among the most watched shows on Hindi GECs with 8,736 Impressions (000s). 

Rishtey continued in the eighth spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 426475, compared to 402,694 recorded in Week 28. Meanwhile, Sony SAB, too, remained unchanged at No. 9 in Week 39, garnering a gross viewership of 367,321, a marginal increase from 363,462 recorded last week. 

DD National, which had re-entered the top 10 list in the tenth spot in Week 38, remained in this spot this week as well, garnering a gross viewership of 352,197, an increase from 310,627 recorded last week. The third match between India and Australia in the Paytm ODI series 2017 was the third most watch show with 10,016 Impressions (000s).
