BARC Wk 4 ratings: Zee Anmol leads the charge of the FTA brigade in R+U

BARC ratings for Week 4 of 2018 (January 20-26) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw a strong show being put up by the FTA channels on the viewership front. Zee Anmol held on to its No. 1 spot, followed by Star Bharat, Sony Pal and Star Utsav. 

Zee Anmol held on to its numero uno position in Week 4. However, the channel saw a dip in its gross viewership – from 736,662 in Week 3 to 720,614 recorded this week. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was placed in the third spot with 10,545 (000) Impressions. 

Star Bharat, too remained unchanged at No. 2 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 690,782, a marginal dip from 691,997 recorded in Week 3. Its show, ‘Nimki Mukhiya’, gained grounds this week to be placed in the fourth spot with 9,894 (000) Impressions. 

Sony Pal further climbed up a notch to be placed in the third position this week, recording a gross viewership of 596,799, compared to 612,393 recorded in Week 3. 

Star Utsav climbed up a couple of notches in Week 4 to No. 4. The channel saw gains in its gross viewership this week at 563,861 from 547,746 garnered last week. 

Colors, on the other hand, slipped a couple of notches to the fifth spot in Week 4, garnering a gross viewership of 560,540, a further decline from 617,050 recorded last week. 

Meanwhile, Zee TV further slipped a notch to No. 6 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 557,950, a decline from 605,654 recorded in Week 4. Both ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued strong. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ continued to be the most watched show with 12,053 (000) Impressions, while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ followed in the second spot with 11,021 (000) Impressions. 

There was no change in Star Plus’ position, as the channel continued to be placed in the seventh spot in Week 4. The channel reported a gross viewership of 444,095, a further decline from 472,073 recorded last week. 

Rishtey, Sony Entertainment Television and Sony SAB also continued in the respective positions of the previous week at No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10. 

Rishtey recorded a decline in its gross viewership – from 453,939 in Week 3 to 443,551 recorded this week. 

On the other hand, Sony Entertainment Television’s gross viewership increased to 434,762 from 424,273 recorded last week. Dance reality show, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’, made a re-entry to the list of most watched shows at No. 5 with 9,435 (000) Impressions. 

Placed in the tenth spot, Sony SAB garnered a gross viewership of 380,515, an increase from 376,493 recorded in Week 3.
