BARC Wk 44: Naagin 3 begins to lose its hold on viewers in R+U

BARC ratings for Week 44 (October 27- Nov 2) [HSM (U+R): NCCS ll: 2+ Individuals] saw Zee Anmol further consolidate its numero uno position. 

After reclaiming the numero uno position in Week 42, Zee Anmol held on to its position in Week 44 as well. However, the channel witnessed a decline in its gross viewership to 809,834, from 848,655 recorded last week. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, which replaced ‘Naagin 3’ as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban last week, held on to this position this week with 13,006 (000) Impressions, while ‘Mahek’ further slipped a notch to No. 5 with 10,551 (000) Impressions.

 

Zee TV climbed up a couple of notches to the second position in Week 44, garnering a gross viewership of 790,406, a sharp increase from 695,346 recorded last week. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ moved to No. 2 among most watched shows with 12,790 (000) Impressions, while marquee show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ moved to No. 4 with 10,830 (000) impressions.

Star Bharat stayed at No. 3 this week. The channel saw an increase in its gross viewership 758,664, an increase from 739,742 recorded in Week 43.

 

Star Utsav slipped to the No. 4 spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 684,362, a sharp decline from 743,680, recorded in Week 43.

 

Meanwhile, Star Plus remained at No. 5 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 658,147 a further decline from 670,236, recorded in Week 43.

 

On the other hand, Colors at the sixth spot in Week 44, garnering a gross viewership of 606,875, an increase from 589,766, recorded last week. Colors’ prime property, ‘Naagin 3’, further slipped a notch to No. 3 for the first time since the show was launched with 12,376 (000) Impressions. 

 

Sony Entertainment Television continued in the seventh spot this week as well, registering a gross viewership of 557,578, a decline from 570,003, from 573,252 recorded in Week 43. 

 

Sony Pal slipped a couple of notches to No. 8 in Week 44. The channel also saw a decline in its gross viewership – from 565,600 recorded last week to 549,560 this week. 

 

Dangal TV moved a notch up to the ninth spot in Week 44, garnering a gross viewership of 438,843 a slight increase from 427,464, recorded last week. 

 

Sony SAB, slipped to spot 10 in Week 44. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 411,613 a decline from 429,475 this week.
