BARC Wk 46 ratings: Colors continues to lead in Rural and Urban

BARC ratings for Week 46 (November 12-18) of 2016 [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 4+ Individuals] saw Colors hold on to its lead. Meanwhile, ZEE TV regained grounds, overtaking Sony Pal to be placed at No. 3 this week.

Colors continued strong at the No. 1spot among Hindi general entertainment channels genre in Week 46 as well, garnering gross viewership of 651,395, an increase from 641387 recorded last week. ‘Naagin 2’ maintained its lead amongst the most watched shows on Hindi GECs, registering 14,036 Impressions (000s) this week. Meanwhile, another show on Colors, ‘Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, climbed up a notch to No. 2, garnering 11,113 Impressions (000s).

Placed at the second spot, Star Plus, too, witnessed an increase in its gross viewership at 627,412 in Week 46 from 597,790  recorded last week. Its show, ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya, found it’s place at N0.5 which was dropped out of the list of top five most watched shows on Hindi GECs this week.

ZEE TV climbed upto third spot in Week 46, garnering a gross viewership of  468,175 , compared to 435,662 recorded in week 45,with the channel overtaking Sony Pal. Yet again, it’s show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, slipped a notch to No.3, registering 10,880 Impressions (000s).

On the other hand, ZEE Anmol grabbed the fourth spot, garnering a gross viewership of 453,971 in Week 46, an increment from 435,662 recorded last week.

Meanwhile, Sony Pal slipped down to No. 5 in Week 46, registering a gross viewership of 452344, a marginal dip from 470,891 recorded last week.

STAR Utsav has overtaken Sony Entertainment Television to be at No.6 in Week 46, witnessing a slight increase in its gross viewership to 423,923 from 398,761 recorded in Week 45.

Sony Entertainment Television came down to No.7 in Week 46, registering a gross viewership of 408,526, compared to 409,301 recorded in Week 45. It’s show Super Dancer, found it’s place at No.4, registering 10,685 Impressions (000s).

Sony sab too saw gains this week, climbing up to the eighth spot. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 384,296  an increase from 365,226 recorded in Week 45.

Life OK remained at No. 9 in Week 46, recording a gross viewership of 364,012, a slight decrease from 376,803, recorded last week.

Rishtey saw the steepest fall this week, dropping from No. 7 to No. 10. The channel’s gross viewership fell from 380,487 from Week 45 to 329,705 this week.
