BARC Wk 51: Order of Channels remain unchanged as the year draws to a close

BARC ratings for Week 51 (December 15 - 21) of 2018 [HSM (U+R): NCCS ll: 2+ Individuals] saw most channels witness decline in their gross viewership as the year draws to a close. Zee Anmol continued in the top spot performance at the ratings. All channels were constant this week with Rishtey edging out Sony Sab for the 10th position.

Though placed at No. 1, Zee Anmol continued to see a decline in its gross viewership in Week 51 as well. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 764424 a fall from 778209, recorded last week. However, its top show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, saw some growth as it continued as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 15,077 (000) Impressions. 

Star Plus, too, remained unchanged at No. 2 in Week 50, garnering a gross viewership of 726911 a decline from 745182, recorded last week. 

Zee TV continued at the third spot, however, it witnessed an increase  in its gross viewership from 695,276 to 714003 recorded in Week 51. Its show, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, at the third spot among most watched shows with 11,440 (000) Impressions, while marquee show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ at No. 4 with 10,600 (000) Impressions. 

Star Bharat fourth spot in Week 51garnering a gross viewership of 685395 an increase from 667, 805 recorded last week. Mythological show, ‘Radhakrishn’, at the fifth spot among most watched shows with 10,496 (000) Impressions. 

Star Utsav remained unchanged at No. 5 in Week 51, recording a gross viewership of 561540 a decline from 619,540, recorded last week. 

Colors, too, remained unchanged in the sixth spot this week, recording a gross viewership of 551706 a marginal decline from 552,334, 552,186 recorded in Week 50. Colors’ prime property, ‘Naagin 3’, stayed at No. 2 among most watched shows, registering 13,051 (000) Impressions.  

Sony Pal continued at No. 7 in Week 51, garnering a gross viewership of 518218 an increase from 500,363, recorded last week. 

Placed at No. 8, Sony Entertainment Television, this week saw a marginal increase in it gross viewership – from 476,220 recorded in week 50 to 497633 recorded this week.

Dangal TV continued in the ninth spot in Week 51, reporting a gross viewership of 446359 a sharp increase from 413,567, recorded last week.  

Rishtey replaced, Sony SAB for the 10th position with a gross viewership of 417356 recorded in week 51.
