BARC Wk 7 ratings: Star Bharat moves past Zee Anmol to lead in R+U

BARC ratings for Week 7 of 2018 (February 10-16) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Star Bharat move to the No. 1 spot after spending weeks in the second spot. Not much change was noticed in the Hindi GECs space in Rural+Urban this week. 

After spending some weeks in the second spot, Star Bharat moved past Zee Anmol to claim the numero uno spot in Week 7. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 748,539, a further increase from 729,536 recorded last week. Two of its shows, ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ and ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’ – were among the most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban. ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ slipped a notch to the fourth spot with 10,260 (000) Impressions, while ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’, too, slipped a notch to the fifth spot with 9,878 (000) Impressions. 

Zee Anmol, on the other hand, slipped a notch to No. 2 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 715,014, a decline from 767,706 recorded in Week 6. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, remained in the second spot with 11,580 (000) Impressions. 

Placed at No. 3, Sony Pal saw further growth in its gross viewership to 680,587 this week from 639,246 recorded in Week 6. 

Colors remained unchanged at No. 4 in Week 7, garnering a gross viewership of 566,399, a further decline from 584,651 recorded last week. 

Zee TV, which had climbed up a notch to No. 5 last week, continued in this position in Week 7 as well, garnering a gross viewership of 548,284, a decline from 571,228 recorded last week. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ continued as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 12,683 (000) Impressions. Meanwhile, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ climbed up to the third spot from No. 5 last week, with 11,053 (000) Impressions. 

Star Utsav, which slipped a notch to No. 6 last week, remained in this position this week as well, garnering a gross viewership of 545,554, a further decline from 558,245 recorded in Week 6. 

Star Plus remained unchanged at No. 7 this week, witnessing an increase in its gross viewership – from 449,901 in Week 6 to 476,819 this week. 

Sony Entertainment Television climbed up a notch to the eighth spot in Week 7, garnering a gross viewership of 441,687, an increase from 435,196 recorded last week. 

Rishtey further slipped a notch this week to the ninth spot, recording a gross viewership of 429550, a decline from 448,678 recorded in Week 6. 

Sony SAB, meanwhile, remained unchanged at No. 10. The channel reported growth in its gross viewership to 387944 in Week 7 from 373,240 recorded last week.
