Baskin Robbins grants wishes to kids as a part of CSR initiative

After a month long initiative, Baskin Robbins handed over a cheque to Make-A-Wish® Foundation, a non-profit organization along with kids from the foundation. The foundation grants wishes to children between the ages of two and a half years and 18 years that have life-threatening medical conditions. The contribution was a percentage of the sales made over a span of one month marking a conclusion to the Baskin Robbins initiative to the charitable trust. In addition to the cheque handover, Baskin Robbins also granted wishes to few selected kids, these wishes included gifts like computers, bicycles, television sets, play stations, video cameras, exercise cycles, doll houses and kitchen sets.

Speaking at the function, Ashwin Uppal, General Manager- Marketing, Baskin Robbins, said, "The launch of our Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative affirms Baskin Robbins core values to lend a helping hand to the society with our initiatives. Baskin Robbins has always taken pride in being socially conscious, and wants to ensure that as a leading brand; we meet the society's needs. It was an extremely gratifying experience seeing the smiles on the faces of these children."

Representatives from Make-A-Wish® Foundation were also present during the celebrations.
