Bates 141 bags Amrit Group's account

In a multi-agency pitch which comprised of JWT, Response, Madison and Lowe, the Kolkata office of Bates 141 has picked up the Amrit Group business.

Amrit Group is a leading player in the poultry sector in Eastern & Northern India with a turnover exceeding Rs 1000 crores. It is a Kolkata-based group having started its operations in 1994.

At present, the Group has strong presence in Poultry Feed, Broiler Farming, Chicken Processing and Milk Processing. The consumer product range comprises of processed milk in different variants, milk products like dahi, lassi and paneer, frozen and chilled chicken, chicken products like sausages, salami etc.

Bates 141 will be responsible for strategy and communication for Amrit Group's entire current portfolio. Commenting on the choice of Bates 141 as its communication partner, Harish Bagla, Managing Director, Amrit Group, said, "We are eyeing multi-fold growth in all our business verticals in the coming couple of years, where Bates will play an important role to develop strategic communication for all our brands.
