Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff in Piranha 3DD

People who loved David Hasselhoff’s character as a lifeguard, Mitch Buchannon in ‘Baywatch’ are in for a huge treat. The ageless actor will be seen reprising his role as a lifeguard in one of the much awaited sequels of the year, Piranha 3DD. Amusingly, David plays himself in the movie and will be seen doing what he does best - saving lives.

 

Apparently, Hasselhoff also gets to showcase his singing talent at the end of the movie and it’s definitely worth a chuckle or two. When quizzed about his experience on the set, he said, “There were so many girls in good shape that it looked like Baywatch on steroids.  David Hasselhoff was last seen as a judge in America’s Got Talent and then he later moved on to become a judge on Britain’s Got Talent  too.

 

Piranha 3DD is a comedy-horror movie set in a giant water park where numerous flesh-eating Piranhas unleash their fury on the unassuming visitors.   It’s directed by John Gulager (Feast) and stars Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, Gary Busey, Katrina Bowden, Danielle Panabaker, Chris Zylka  and David Koechner.  Piranha 3DD is all set to unleash across screens in India in 3D & 2D in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu on15th June 2012.
