BBC appoints Yogita Limaye as BBC News India correspondent

BBC News has appointed Yogita Limaye as its India correspondent. She will be based in Mumbai. She will be covering developments in the political, economic and social sphere whose reports will be available on BBC World News, BBC World Service and BBC News online.

Limaye, who previously served as correspondent and presenter for India Business Report, joined BBC News in 2012 from CNN IBN, a leading national news broadcaster, where she spent six years working in many roles. Her international assignments include South Korea, Lebanon, Turkey, and New York.
