BBDO India celebrates golden show at ANDYs, Adfest 2018

BBDO India won the country’s only Gold at ANDYs and two Golds at Adfest this year – for Mirinda #ReleaseThePressure and Ariel’s Dads#ShareTheLoad campaigns. Last month, WARC recognised BBDO India’s work for Ariel as the most effective campaign in the world and ranked BBDO India (Mumbai) as the 4th most creative in the world. 

As the first premiere advertising award show of the season, The International ANDY Awards is an early predictor that often provides a glimpse into what will sweep the industry’s award season. With a look inside this year’s jury room, entrants also gained additional insight as to which work is resonating best with industry leaders. Mirinda’s #ReleaseThePressure was awarded the Gold by a Jury consisting of the world’s finest creative minds – CCOs from agencies around the globe. 

The Mirinda #ReleaseThePressure campaign also won the Integrated Gold Lotus at the Adfest 2018. Moreover, the agency also won the Effective Gold Lotus award for Ariel’s ‘Dads #ShareTheLoad’ campaign, thus ringing up the award tally early this year. The 56 juries invited to judge the Lotus Awards at Adfest 2018 hail from 25 cities across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, as well as New York, the home base of Joyce King Thomas, Grand Jury President of Adfest 2018 and Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of McCann XBC. 

Commenting on the wins, Josy Paul, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, BBDO India, said, “Brands can play a useful role in rearranging society for the better.
