BBH assigned creative mandate for Snapdeal

BBH has been brought on board as the creative agency for Snapdeal. Leo Burnett and FCB Ulka have been working on the Snapdeal account.

Confirming the win, Arvind Krishnan, Managing Director, BBH India, said, “We are thrilled to be partnering Snapdeal. It is a challenging market and the task excites us immensely. They are entrepreneurial to the core, and that opens up a lot of possibilities.”

Subhash Kamath, CEO & Managing Partner, BBH India, added here, “We have been engaged with Snapdeal since the last few months, and have recently started working on the brand. It is a big win for us, Snapdeal is a very powerful e-commerce player and we are delighted. The challenge is how to differentiate the brand among its competition, given the current e-commerce market place and the numerous choices consumers have today.”

Snapdeal’s last campaign featured brand ambassador Aamir Khan, who was part of the ‘Dil Ki Deal’ campaigns. The e-commerce player decided not to renew the contract with Aamir.
