BCCI considering hosting India-West Indies series at two locations

Due to the Covid pandemic in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering conducting the forthcoming West Indies tour of India 2022 at two sites instead of six, according to reports.

Amid increasing cases of Covid, the Board's Tours, Fixtures, and Technical Committee convened online on Wednesday to consider the venues for the series planned to begin in February.

The committee is said to have chosen Ahmedabad and Kolkata as the two locations for the series, which would include three one-day matches and as many T20 games.

The BCCI will review the committee's suggestions and will likely make a pronouncement within a day or two.
