Begusarai: A Struggle for Power and Money

Zee Anmol, India's leading FTA (Free to Air) television channel, announces the launch of its new series –‘Begusarai’. Starting 12^th December at 10:30PM. Get ready to discover this forgotten town in rustic India called Begusarai which is ruled by the outlaws of the powerful Thakur family. 

Begusarai is a land beyond the law with a powerful story to tell. A town where bullets speak louder than words and bloodshed is a measure of power and money. The hold of the Thakur family on Begusarai starts to slip when Bindiya (Shweta Tiwari), a dancer enters this hinterland. These change in events threatens the powerful family’s reign.

Excited about being seen in a new avatar as Bindiya who is an entertainer, Shweta Tiwari said, “I love to dance and for the first time, I’ve been offered a role where I play a dancer as well as a shrewd character. This is a refreshing change from my usual roles. The show challenged me to push my boundaries and work harder. I not only had to play a quirky character but also have to weave in the local dialect.”
